Hi,
I plan on purchasing a large Sloan at Macy's family an friends sale on Wednesday. I have prepaid for the vanilla color, but now I'm thinking that maybe I should be getting black instead. I plan on using it pretty much daily, I'm extremely careful with my handbags, no placing on floor etc etc. which color do you think? I'm really confused over here, I love the vanilla color, but is it easy to maintain? Anyone else have a vanilla bag and what do you think and how has your bag held up? Thanks in advance ;)

I have a vanilla Gilmore east/west satchel. I don't carry it often because most of the time I'm carrying diapers/baby stuff and I like to keep it nice. It does get some denim transfer, etc, but I waterproofed it with the MK spray and the transfer has cleaned well with the MK conditioner. If I were going to carry a bag every day, I would probably go with the black so I didn't have to worry so much.

Thank you for your response and suggestion. I did go to Macy's today and picked up my preorder large Sloan ;). I took your advice and purchased the bag in black LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Thank you soo much ;)
