Slipping in Oran Sandals

I wore my new Oran sandals for a wine night with a gf at home and found myself nearly slipping twice on travertine floors. I’d hate to peel out again in a more public place and/or hurt myself.

Does this happen to anyone else? Has anyone put nonslip soles on their sandals?

Yes they are quite slippery. You can go ahead and put soles on, I have not on my pairs but I think it’s a good idea.

I have thin rubber soles put on all my shoes when I buy them.

I got my local cobbler to put on soles on all my Orans. The original sole felt thin and slippery.

Whatever the shoe place uses. They have a great reputation and do a nice job, so I trust them.

Orans are awful for slipping! I have all my shoes Topy soles by my cobbler.
