On the Brass/parchment color...is the trim more of something in the brown family? or black family?

I haven't seen the bag in person yet and on the website, I feel color blind b/c I can't seem to decide.

the parchment one in the catalog looks to have a tobacco colored trim with the brass hardware. i like the color combo!
