Hello guys,
I will write about my experience with bt plastic surgery. I did my sliding genioplasty last year. My list were Braun, 345 and BT, because of reviews, Youtube and Tiktok, and I finally decided on BT and it was the best decision in my life. I am still happy with the results even though I still don't have my sensation back fully.

If you are reading my review right now, it is probably because you are interested in having surgery to improve your small and weak chin forward. I had the small chin since I was born.

<Why I decided to have surgery>
While taking pictures, I realized that my was very small, and I was always stressed. There was a limit to how much I could stick my chin forward when taking pictures.
I was debating whether to get a chin implant or genioplasty, but I wanted to make my chin a little more defined, so I chose genioplasty, and I think it was the best choice.

<Duration of stay in Korea>
When I was searching for surgery, I had online consultation with 10 clinics and I was advised to stay in Korea for two weeks after surgery. Some clinics said one week will be fine. The difference in minimum length of stay was materials for surgery. BT said that if I cannot stay longer, I could stay in Korea one week because they will use melting thread to suture. The stitches would come out after two weeks, so there was no need to visit the dentist or clinic to remove it after returning home.
Because I had a long vacation, I was able to stay in Korea for one month. So, BT removed all the stitches in my mouth 2 weeks after surgery. They told me to keep gargling well after that, and now I'm really good at it.

<About Doctor Lee at BT>
There are two Doctor Lee at BT. One of them was specialized in FC, Grace said he has over 5,000 cases before. In addition, she said Doctor had a lot of FC surgeries over the past six years. As I search, he worked DA before, then I thought I could trust it. Because DA is famous for FC too.
From their webpage, there was lack of b/a photos, but Doctor Lee showed me a lot of cases during consultation at BT. He speaks English well, I was able to communicate directly with the doctor. He listened to all my concerns and explained them calmly and delicately. His bedside manner was so good too. All the clinics I went to for consultation, Doctor Lee at BT told me a lot of information about the surgery. No one rush my consultation with Doctor. I was confident that this doctor really knew FC well and was good at it, and after consultation with all the clinics, I was able to make my final choice. He did not recommend cheekbone surgery, he only explained the surgery I wanted. Other clinics recommended cheekbone reduction too, but I wanted genioplasty.

<Before Surgery>
After I contacted Grace, she said I needed testing for surgery. Grace took me to the testing clinic. It was the building next to BT. The test took about 10 minutes included an X-ray, electrocardiogram, and blood test. The nurse doing the blood test was really good. The testing fee was all included in the surgery cost.

<Surgery Day>
I paid the surgery fee excluding the deposit and changed my clothes. Then I took pictures and met the Doctor Lee again. I had consultation with him again and he told me surgery plan again. All preparations were done and I went to surgery room with Grace.
Many nurses and anesthesiologist welcomed me warmly. I got the IV and had patches on my body. They said they would watch my heart beat on a monitor, and I heard the signal. Doctor Lee came in one more time and looked at my face. I spoke a few words with the anesthesiologist and slept.

<After Surgery>
When I woke up, I had headache and was very sleepy. They kept telling me I needed to keep my eyes open. Actually, I was excited and nervous the day before surgery that I could not sleep well, but I was so sleepy after the surgery that was the hardest time. For those undergoing FC, Please sleep well the day before surgery. That way, it will be less difficult post surgery. I moved recovery room and had mask, they said it's Oxygen. Doctor Lee came again and said surgery went well. I was sleepy and had a band, was so tired. About few hours later, Kelly gave me water and it was the best water I ever had. That's how the first day ended.

Thanks for your review! And esp for also showing the CT scans. What were your thoughts on the price of the surgery and did you receive any discounts? And how was the aftercare experience?

Hello, thank you for the review.
Did the genioplasty change anything else like dimples, lower lips etc?
How was the recovery? How long did you need a compression garment for?
Are there any grooves or dents along the jawline?

Hi Guys, I am sharing my story again.

After surgery, I went back home. BT gave me FC kit with baby tooth brush. I needed to gargle every two hours and kept band for one week. When I ate or slept, I took off the band.

Follow up was 1 week later and 2 weeks later, had CT scan again and post care and met doctor Lee Hobin. He showed me CT and explained how surgery went. My small and weak chin moved! It was amazing and I am very happy to choose Doctor Lee for my genioplasty. He is awesome for genioplasty. After I went back home, started eat meal and swelling gradually disappeared, it slowly disappeared and this waiting was difficult. If I had written my experiences right after the surgery, I don't think I would have said something as positive as this.

Now, everything has been recovered well and my senses came back. I was worried about nerve damage, fortunately surgery went well. Compared to the long time for considering, the surgery time was short. I was very busy after I came back home, cannot remember everything well, but remember that I had bread, fruits and tofu, foods from convenience store was good. I'm happy with my genioplasty. Ask any questions you have!
