SLG’s - to match or not to match?

What do you prefer? I have a small LV collection - Damier Ebene Speedy B 25 and Alma BB, Epi Noir Alma BB, Mini Pochette in DE and a key pouch in DE. I want the new key pouch because the tiny extra length helps get my cards in and out much easier. I just sold my DE key pouch and am deciding between these 3: Reverse Monogram Eclipse, Damier Graphite or just getting Damier Ebene again. I use it as a wallet and attach it to me keys for ease. Would it clash if I have Reverse Monogram Eclipse or Damier Graphite? I thought it would be cool to get something in a different print because it’s kinda boring having all of the same print but figured I’d get opinions. Thanks!!

I have all different prints for my SLG’s. They’re my chance to buy the prints I wouldn’t get in a bag, have a little bit of everything, or carry a piece that speaks to me for that day.

I know some people have their favorite print and stick to it. I like to be a little wild.

I have different prints on my slgs. My eyeglasses case is the comics print, my zippy wallet is the Kusama dots print, and my cosmetic case is the regular monogram print. I welcome change and think it's unique to have different prints. I think it's boring to have all of the same print, in my opinion.

This is what I was thinking too… it’s fun to switch it up. I think I’m going for reverse monogram eclipse. I love silver hardware and I don’t have anything in monogram.

I have to admit, that even though my wallet would be much better off with me mixing different SLG prints, I love matchy-matchy and there’s nothing I can do about it. So for nearly every print that I have in my collection (except some LE or leather bags), I have a matching SLG set. So my recommendation would be to get one in DE.

I like to switch mine up, but admittedly only go for a few designs: Basically the monogram print and the damier graphite. Even though the prints are canvas, I'm kind of afraid of getting the light-colored ones . I recently bought a pre-loved multicolor pouch, but the bubbling of the canvas was too much and doesn't fit as much as I had hoped so it's (unfortunately) sitting in a lil dust bag. Otherwise, I'd probably use that 24/7 because the design is so stinkin' cute.

I think it's your choice. I tend to just go with what I am feeling at that moment. I personally love not to match most of the time. IMO, it makes my bag pop more.

I am matchy matchy most of the time but trying to break out of that mold because of $$ and space. SLGs are the devil.
