I try not to make a big fuss over small things but 10 out of 15 of my last luxury items (not just LV) have all had some type of flaw. Many cases I just ignore it if it’s not that big of a deal but this is starting to irritate me to no end- to the point I’m considering not patronizing the big fashion houses anymore.

Enough rambling… two weeks ago, I purchased a replacement keepall 55. Ask to have the luggage tag heat stamp. They said to leave it, and come back the Monday after next because the guy who does the heat stamps is going on vacation. I picked up the tag on Black Friday- didn’t check it until this morning. The stitching is obviously crooked. Again, I don’t like making a fuss over small things but I feel like this is the final straw. The person doing the heat stamp could have easily stated this item isn’t up to LV standards or am I over reacting bc I’m tired of high prices and poor craftsmanship?!
Please chime in ladies and gents.

This looks horrendous. The weird thing is that all the luggage tags I've ever seen looked totally identical, since they are machine cut/made/sewn/painted, etc... Cannot imagine how could this happen. Anyway, they must give you a new one.

I am not very picky but that is just awful. It’s so annoying that a luxury brand doesn’t have better QA. But it’s because they don’t need to - people just keep buying and there’s no repercussions that force them to make changes.

I’ve seen better looking fake products. Getting that would bother me.

I’m sure there are people out there who drop a lot of money on luxury items and cycle through them so often that they don’t care about flaws. But for the rest of us, we expect better when spending thousands of dollars on a bag (and related accessories).

If it’s bothering you, bring it back. They should be able to replace a luggage tag easily.

I also wouldn’t care about it. I’ve bought a luggage tag a few years ago and LV did the stamping wrong, so they removed it and restamped it, I could still see where the old heatstamp was but I was just too happy to get one!

Hi
That looks awful and would bother me, we hand so much money over and take out time deciding that all the excitement goes for me if I keep thinking it shouldn’t be like that.
I have today just been refunded for the reverse monogram Zoe wallet, it’s the second time I’ve received one with a glazing issue. It’s so disappointing!
