Can anyone tell me which year this bag was from and if it is called sky blue? Really loving this color.

I wonder if BalNY still has any of these in store...

Yes, that is sky blue. I don't think that you will be able to find this bag new anymore. However, there is a new sky blue color coming out for Spring/Summer '08. Should be out soon! I would get on a waiting list!
