Currently I have 3! I have an original .93 marquise from 22 years ago. Not great quality I believe "F" color but SI and definitely visible bowties in it. I have a .50 princess that is of better quality but small. And a 1.21 round that was reset into a HOF halo in June of 2010. I think it is "H" color and maybe VS1. But I always have wanted and cannot get out of my system - a branded ring from Tiffany or Cartier. Currently I'm leaning towards a small .50 ballerine from Cartier. Is it insane to have a 4th diamond ring?

I agree with Ame, not if you wear them all. And you also have variety depending upon your mood or your wardrobe for the day.

Why don't you have the round set as a pendant? That could be lovely!
I originally thought maybe set them all as one pendant but then you don't seem too happy with the marquis, and a single round of that size is most wearable.
The princess could be paired with another for some studs, or you could keep both as gifts for your future children.

Well, for me only the ring I got from my engagement day is considered ering, so there is only one. But I do have many anniversary rings, and some are bigger than the original one. So I do think if you could afford more than 1 anni ring, why not? It's always wonderful to cherish your marriage with something "sparkle"
