Silly question about chanel woc with magnetic closure

How do you all feel with the magnetic closure wear so far? The SA said my woc is new, but the magnetic has already shown wear on it, wonder if it gets worse. Anyone has similar experience? I know with magnetic clasp this kind of wear is inevitable, but just curious with other opinion here. I kinda wish they make the snap button too, I feel it's more durable, Louis Vuitton is still using snap button for their bags anyway, haha. Sorry for the long rant!

is it GHW or SHW? Mine also still has the sticker, it's the inside circle that has wear already even before I wear it! I don't really mind small wear and tear but maybe I'm the unpopular opinion here n wish for a snap closure back lol.

It is in SHW, the first mini woc that was launched last year. I prefer the magnetic closure as you don't have to hold the leather flap to line up to snap it in place. I have seen WOC with significant wear because of it. The handling of the leather every time you open and snap it in place, caused the leather to lift up.

Here's the better look of the chipped dot I mentioned. I guess it's inevitable right? How other woc owner's magnetic clasp holding up? My other luxury bags with magnetic clasp have the same issue too so I thought there's no way to avoid it over time. I guess I just didn't expect my new woc to show some wear already.

I have the older woc with snap closure. It doesn’t show wear on the closure but instead on the outside leather where you’re trying to push it down to close it. I think I would prefer the magnetic closure so at least the wear can be hidden. I have the large Deauville tote with a magnetic closure and it is easily scratched. But at least it’s not usually seen!

thanks for your input! I didn't know at first that snap closure means problems for the leather, and do you mean the magnetic easily scratched overtime? Guess both options are prone to damage eventually and you just have to learn to enjoy them.
