Which would you rather have or lean to more - wristwatches or designer handbags! I'm obsessed with watches but I think my collection is getting excessive. I just think watches are timeless (pardon the pun) and bags, while some hold value, many others soon become outdated.

I think both. It's just a matter of personal preference. I only have one watch (a white gold Rolex with mother of pearl face and diamond markers), but there are lots of watches that are on my wish list. I lean more toward buying more designer handbags (Chanel only) but that's probably because the bags I want are less expensive than the watches I would be interested in buying.

Definitely watches. I've always had a thing for watches, and have quite a collection. Purses, not so much. I would feel like a chump paying thousands of dollars for a purse, yet not for a watch. Makes no sense I know, but it's how I feel.

I feel like you get more for your money with a watch. Also it goes with anything and you don't have to worry about color transfer. It'd be nice to have a small collection one day.

I'm going to have to opt for bags because at least the bags I like best (LV damier) are generally within my financial reach. There is no concievable way for me to save enough ever for the watches that I truly drool over.

Ex: A. Lange & Sohne - Lange 1 Daymatic or Double Split

I currently have more purses than watches, but I would like to add to my watch selection.

same for me. especially since I don't own a high-end watch yet. but the problem is the cheapest watch I want costs around 2 Birkins (which I don't even own one of yet) and the most expensive can buy you a nice house already... so it will stay bags for now, but would like to have an extensive watch collection once I'm swimming in money... someday

while i do love my watch collection, after having spent so much on my dream watch..my white j12 with mop face and diamond markers (everytime i look at her i can't help but smile)...i think i won't be buying anymore watches for a long time...so that means i can buy myself a bag..once my "6 month anything expensive ban" finishes.....its a fraction of what i spent on my watch...i like using my designer handbags wen i go out..but working full time, my watches defo get much more use than my bags... i wear my watch all the time so if your looking at cost per wear, a watch is definitely more.. money well spent..:)

i've been wanting to get a nice watch, but for some reason i always end up getting more handbags.... perhaps because they're more financially within my reach, but it's not really a good excuse because some bags are more than the watches i like.
