Silk Cord with a Cartier Trinity Ring

I've really been loving the idea of the Cartier Trinity silk cord bracelet lately, but am worried that later on I may grow tired of the cord bracelet look.

So, I've been thinking about getting a Trinity ring instead and getting a silk cord to make my own trinity cord bracelet. That way, I could have the flexibility of wearing the ring as a silk cord bracelet now and as a ring later on if I don't like the idea of cord bracelets anymore.

Can any of you ladies chime in on the feasibility of this idea and how it will look (for instance, if you think the ring will be too big on a bracelet)?

I think it's a great idea! I wish I would've thought of this when I bought my cord trinity. I ended up hating it after only a few months. I put my charm on a chain and love it now.

Also, Cartier would probably put the ring on one of their cords if you prefer.

I love this idea and I think I would do this if I had a trinity (on my short list)
