I think alot of their staying power has to do with the fact that celebs are still carrying them, and the yummy yummy colors that Bal has produced

I know others have said that the 06 leather is slightly thicker than previous years, but not the same as when it first came out. I'm not sure, because I don't have earlier leather to compare

You will actually not find any legitimate online store that sells Bal, because that's against Bal's policy. For AlohaRag, you have to complete your order offline and they are the closest you get to "ordering online." My advice would be to go thru them if you already know what you want and don't need to see the bag upclose. And they don't charge sales tax or shipping either
