Would love to see all your unique (other than diamond) rings, share stories on how you got them and why you love em'!

with this thread we can share all the unique designs that we have, tell stories on why we love them and still treasure them even though it's not the conventional "diamond" ring, I know there are alot out there show us your precious ones!

I actually received this ring today! I wear it on my right hand, middle finger and its soo unique, at least compaired to alot of the other rings I have. Its a tanzanite on white gold setting and the blue color is beautiful

I had a loose blue topaz with 3 bezel set diamonds inside the stone. For many years I wasn't sure how to set it. Here's what I came up with. (I enlisted my son's help during the photo session).

Can you share a bit more about your ring? This thread asked for Unique rings, it doesn't get more unique than yours :P

This is the profile shot.It is set in white gold with diamond accents.
Kunzite is a pinky/lilac colour & can absorb light & give off a glow in dim lighting. This effect is known as phosphorescence.
In 1963 JFK bought his wife Jacqueline a Kunzite ring to celebrate their 10th Christmas together, sadly he was assassinated before he had a chance to give it to her.For a very long time after his death,it was impossible to separate Jackie Kennedy & her Kunzite ring.

It is a member of the Spodumene family of gemstones & was discovered by George Fredrick Kunz in 1902 in California.
