I am vacillating back and forth between carrying one big bag all the time that has my purse stuff plus my laptop, water bottle, etc, or having two bags, so I can leave one at my desk and grab my purse when I'm just running out for a quick errand.
What are your work bag setups?

At the moment, I carry a large Boss Taylor for work. I got it about a month ago and haven't felt the need to change out of it. I go out to lunch once or twice a week and to make it easier, I switched from my TB Robinson Smart Phone Wristlet wallet into a RL WOC. I can fit my work keys and phone in it so it's just grab n' go. The WOC serves as my wallet so it travels inside my Taylor and any other bag I choose to carry.
I am wanting a clutch or a wristlet to shove my card holder, phone and keys in for quick errands/work lunches and some of the possible alternatives would be a LV DA/DE Mini Pochette, DKNY Barbara Wristlet or a Coach wristlet. Not sure which way I'm going to go, bit I stick to one bag as I most days also have a small lunch cooler to carry.

Same here. I carry a larger work bag (bayswater, Balenciaga city, RL tote...) and looking for a small pouch/purse for the essentials so I can carry that to work lunches etc. Haven’t decided which one yet, but do want to stick to just the big work bag.

I carry a glitter Jansport backpack and a separate handbag. I’m a teacher do I can get away with the glitter. The backpack can hold my laptop and lunch. Since I don’t have time in the afternoon, I rarely bring work home. If I do, it stays in the backpack. I also rarely bring my laptop home either. Everything fits.

What can I say, I’m a compartmentalizer!

I think one larger daily bag looks more polished than carrying multiple bags. I decide daily which bag to carry based on what I need to take with me that day. I have protein bars in my desk for lunch and a cup for water rom the water cooler, so I don’t end up carrying that much with me daily. If I did, I ave a strong preference for carrying one larger bag. Carrying multiple just doesn’t look polished in my personal opinion, even though I see ladies doing that all the time around the courthouse.

I carry a large work bag—currently I’m using my LV Idylle Fusain Neverfull. It’s big enough to hold my iPad, Kindle, stethoscope, a few smaller pouches, my work-dedicated Yeti tumbler. I personally like the look and neatness of one bag. I see people at work all the time wearing backpacks AND toting lunch bags, roll-on suitcases, what-have-you, or just struggling with multiple smaller bags. I don’t get it. I ONLY carry to work what I might actually use during my shift.IMG_1536866022.415665.jpg

It's not sexy, I know, but I just use a plastic grocery bag to take my food for the day and anything else I might want to have at work. If the bag gets messy, I throw it out. I don't want food in my good bags, and I take public transportation, so I don't want to carry a lunch bag back and forth. I don't want to clean a lunch bag. And then I just carry a purse with my personal items in it. A few people bring their laptops for personal use, but we are not allowed to use personal devices for work and only a small number of people have work-issued devices, so that's not a concern for me.

But if I were in a situation where I needed a true work bag, I'd probably still have 2 bags, just because it's easier to carry 2 lighter bags than one heavy one when walking to and from the bus. Crossbody purses are my friend here.

It often amuses me at work to see all the women coming in with a purse and a tote bag and a lunch bag, some of them have rolling suitcases, etc. Just laden down with bags and stuff. And then the men come in with their keys, wallet and maybe their lunch.

Have you ever heard of Baggu? I use them instead of plastic bags, and instead of throwing them out you can throw them in the washing machine! I have some I use as laundry bags when I travel, and to carry my dirty shoes as well. I've had them for over a year and they've lasted through 52 washes and counting!

I always carry two bags. One handbag of any size and our company’s cross body business bag. I take my lunch, breakfast and gym clothes since I attend during my lunch break. Since I have this setup, I carry medium size and large bags according to my mood, weather, and attire.

I don’t have a usual because I don’t go to a set office every day.

If I’m seeing clients I pretty much just take my Knomo laptop bag with work items. If I run to lunch with them, I grab my wallet and go. I really need a couple WOC’s but have been lazy about buying because I don’t see any that are unbranded / quietly branded that I like. :oh: I don’t wear my premier branded bags because it can cause political issues.

If I’m seeing vendors, I can either just take my desired handbag o’ the day (many times I don’t need a laptop). Or I take a handbag and my laptop bag. I have more freedom to wear whatever I want because I’m the client. Lol! So my prettiest functional bags get used often.

If I’m networking, it really varies. Sometimes Chanel, Dior or LV gives me “street cred”. But with some I have to go completely underground with non branded Proenza Schouler Small Courier.

When I was working in a set office every day I took 2 bags - a handbag and a tote with laptop, lunch, files, etc.

I commute by bicycle, 15-20 miles daily, most weather.
No laptop, files, etc. to haul.
Can pack food. But, coffee & food often magically appear, when needed.

Use 2 bags: patagonia atom sling & ortlieb trunk.
*Trunk stays on bike.
*Sling stays with me.
*I never leave water bottle in holder, unattended.

Trunk has room for extra clothing, doughnuts to share, or small shopping.
Will hold sling bag, if needed.

Ortlieb required some modifications, particularly closure method & rack mount.
Patagonia received reflective hits, but is solid awesome design.

Almost 1 year with bike/bag system= so far, so good.
