Show Us Your 'IT' Bags

Last week , while thrifting with my bestie, I was happily accosted by the manager of the local Habitat for Humanity about a handbag she had had donated two weeks before.
They were trying to work out if this bag was authentic or not.
As we have many wonderful Authenticators who give us their time and knowledge, I offered to get this bag , and one other , authenticated.
Well...thank you to the wonderful @terite in the AT Burberry thread for authentication of this big beauty.

A Burberry Warrior Hobo...Wow..this bag is HUGE!!.
Apparently an IT bag for Burberry in 2008.

So I wondered about other IT bags?
I believe I have another 2 styles in my collection

Fendi B Buckle Bag from 2006

And the Wonderful Balenciaga City Bag.....this is Bleu Obscur 2015

Would love to see what other IT bags are out there as I seem to be drawn to them.

Please show me what you have in your collection.

My Wish list may just get even longer.

The Warrior and the B Bag are STUNNING!! I love all the variations that the Warrior came in... I've actually been eyeing one up on VC.

I have two Celine Luggage totes, they are one of my favourite it bags of the past; beautifully made and a beautiful design. Here's my black/white from SS 2013, also have one in colour Sienna from AW of the same year (pic from online as I can't find a picture of mine)


Also at one point had a khaki Balenciaga City bag, which I sold


Also have a beautiful blue velvet Gucci Marmont, which literally had a cult following... seems to have dropped off now though. I still love this bag and love wearing it.


Also have a Fendi Peekaboo mini in Dove Grey, which definitely was an it bag, but has stuck around and gained almost classic status.



Also have a Givenchy Antigona... definitely was an it bag around 2014/15 but has fallen out of popularity these days I think. I still love it and wear it a lot




I've generally avoided buying 'it' bags as I know that a lot of them will fall out of style and will start looking dated... but sometimes I do buy ones that I love.

Love the Fendi and Givenchy...yes I worry about bags becoming dated...some have stood the test of time like Chanel .
I was lucky to have gotten the Fendi and Burberry at a reasonable price I think I would just manage to get most of my money back if I decided to resell.
