Hi everyone,

I ordered my first EVER vintage handbag. Yay! I'm super excited for it to arrive and it's from my birth year. Since I've been noticing them and considering them more lately, I thought it would be fun to start a thread of vintage designer bags and accessories. Post some pictures on here and tell us what you can about your items! :D

Here's my new to me baby that's on her way. :heart:

Lol well that would be about 2/3 of my bags. Garden variety Vintage Coach. Congrats on your vintage LV. I have to ask you, what intrugued you to go vintage here? My disclosure is that I am older and when I learned about how to refurbish vintage Coach leather, I found I could indulge my in Coach items I could not afford when I was younger :smile:

That's awesome! What drew me to vintage is that even though I'm more of a new from the store fan, I really wanted a bag from my birth year. I thought it would be awesome to own a bag that has the same starting point in life as I do. It was really hard though to find items from my birth year, a lot of bags I found are from the 80s, 1990, and 1993-1998 (born in 1991). The only bags I could find from 1991 were in a sad state but the vintage Noe is in pretty good condition and happens to be from 1991! :D While searching for a bag from my birth year though I just got more interested in the vintage pieces. :)

So, in honor of your birth year, I will post my Coach Plaza bag. I don't have an exact year, but I believe it was introduced in 1990 or 91. The creed stamp was not used after 93 (or before 1988). I will go back through some catalogue pics I have and see what I can find! :smile:
