Hello, As so many new bags coming to the market .. I notice there are 3 major materials for shoulder straps. Leather, canvas and fabric ones. What's your experiences with these three different types. which one last longer? which has more lux looks? share your thoughts ;)

My favorite LV strap is a non-adjustable mono on one side and vernis on the other. It came with my Alma bb. I like the duo color option and the width is very comfortable. - a smidgen wider than the typical Alma straps. There are no buckles to snag on things either. It is the perfect length for what I use it for - crossbody. My second favorite is a thin black leather strap that came with the padlock on strap bag. It converts from shoulder carry to crossbody seamlessly and looks simply polished. My third is a monogram strap with the rubber shoulder strap (sorry don’t know the name). It’s ok. My least favorite though is the thin long chain strap on the Felicie. It digs into my shoulder and very awkward length for me. I don’t like material straps - period.

Favorite: black fabric strap that came with my Coussin PM. It's just very comfortable and I don't have to worry about it. Can use it for my Speedys

2nd favorite: Coussin metal chain. I can add to my Pochette Metis turtledove and make it fancy ;)

Least favorite: Speedy straps. It's my most favorite bag but I hate the thin straps as they cut into my shoulders

I like this thread!!
I realized from reading, even the fabric strap, there are different types!
Coussin adjustable strap is “matte” type.
Petite Malle Souple adjustable strap is “glossy” type.
anyone can comment about MPA’s adjustable strap? Is it the”glossy” seatbelt kind or “matte” nylon type?
