Hi all! I’m looking to buy my next Cartier piece and would love your thoughts, especially if you own this piece.
I currently have in my collection from Cartier:
- Panthere two-tone watch in small
- Gold Love necklace (interlocking rings)
- Trinity ring

I don’t always wear my watch as I don’t find it to be appropriate for every situation. It also feels a bit chunky (I have super thin wrists and fingers)

So, I’ve recently been interested in getting a bracelet that I can wear every day and for formal occasions as well.
My eye is really drawn to the thin JUC with diamonds but I have a lot of concerns about the way you have to bend it to put on and take off. I’ve seen some warped bracelets on the secondhand market that make me afraid that will happen to the bracelet over time. I’m also worried that the pointy part of nail will get caught on things and contribute to warping and wear. I also question if such a thin bracelet is worth the money, but then again, is anything in this luxury/designer world really fairly priced 😛
But I have also considered the thin JUC without diamonds as it’s at a lower price point.
So please talk me into or talk me out of this purchase! Would love to hear your experiences. Sidenote: I’m not really interested in a love bracelet as I don’t really care for the design and I want to be able to freely take a bracelet off.
Thank you!!

I’ve done a lot of research for reviews on the thin JUC (considering the thin juc with diamonds or regular size juc with diamonds).

From what I gather, most are happy with their purchase. After trying on the thin vs the regular, I am leaning towards the thin due to the regular being heavy and sort of sliding to the side of my wrist. It doesn’t stay in place for me, which really bothers me. The thin doesn’t have that problem on my wrist. It looks amazing stacked and I appreciate the size/look.

However, I too agree that the warped ones on the second hand market and the stories of it getting caught and twisting, breaking, etc cause me to worry. It seems like it’s almost luck of the draw, and I do not want to worry when I wear it. I have the regular love and would prefer to have another “carefree” bracelet to go with it. I do plan on taking it off every night when I purchase it…

All of this being said, I think it’s personal opinion/ risk. The reviews online are mixed.

My SA prefers the regular size, but agrees that the size 15 regular juc with diamonds falls to the side on my arm, and there is no size 14. She has not expressed any problems with the thin juc, but finds the regular size more classic/ forever piece. She has been with the company for 15 years, so perhaps she is not on the thin juc train yet. This has paused me to really think.

I’m eager to hear more thoughts and opinions, both in favor and not.

I have the small JUC and really like it. It’s light and very comfortable. That said, it has gotten snagged on things many times and I don’t wear it to bed bc I’m scared it will get damaged. I also think it looks best stacked with the small Love…it’s fairly dainty to be worn alone (just my personal style opinion). Overall I’m very pleased to have it in my collection (so pleased that I bought the plain version too lol).

I have the small JUC plain in RG. It has never warped despite the nail head sometimes getting flipped over. And usually it only flips if I rushed pulling a sweater on/off, etc. I would say the regular might be another choice, but if you don’t like the size and prefer something more dainty (which might be your preference since you mention having a small Panthere) then the small JUC will be perfect!

I have the small JUC for about 2yr. I used to like it a lot but recently I was thinking of selling it to get the regular size just because the regular feels more substantial on its own. You mentioned you have thin wrist and fingers so the small JUC might suit you well. Go for the diamond version if you can, the non diamond version can be a little too low key for some. I personally wear mine stacked with VCA signature bangle since I don't own a love bangle like most stack the JUC with.
The nail tail does get caught into things sometimes, even the towel lol.
I've seen some videos saying the regular version don't get caught too badly because of the hinge design. The small JUC doesn't have a hinge so it may get caught in things more deeply (hope you got me).
Sorry not of much help here but personally I am leaning towards getting the regular after 2yr of owning it.

Of course it can get snagged in a sweater or something, but it's not a big deal imo. There's a huge thread about the small JUC, I probably should merge them tbh, but there's very few issues posted.
I'm petite and small boned and it just looks best on me proportionally.
I stack mine with my Loves or with my watch sometimes. But imo the JUC in any size can stand alone like any other bracelet.

(ETA, the 2nd pic... my poor swollen self, I'd just had a very extreme ankle break and had not had surgery yet as it was too swollen... as was I clearly!)

I recommend it! The small JUC is easy to put on and off. I wear mine 24/7. Even though I love diamonds, I don’t like the one with diamonds. Diamonds seem to take away from the nail design itself? Cartier has great customer service. In the event you experience warping, Cartier will fix the issue. Something to consider… The small JUC will look less substantial on its on compared to the regular JUC. Maybe consider the regular size if that will be an issue. Attached is a picture of mine for reference. I hope that helps!

I really like mine. I don't wear it to bed. Occasionally, it does get snagged on sweaters.

I actually prefer my regular JUC because it just feels more substantial. But the small is a great everyday piece.

I have the small RG with diamonds and have had zero issues with it. I have very small wrists and the large JUC is just too much on me. I wear mine alone or paired with everything from tennis bracelets to beaded bracelets. I 100% prefer the diamond version. Gives a plain design something a bit extra. Is it worth the price? Likely not. But I love it, so it’s worth it to me!

I have the thin juc with diamonds and I stack it with a classic love and a thin love with 6 diamonds. I have had it since it was released, I wear it 4-5 days a week and always take it off at night. I have not had any problems with it and it is still in the same shape as it was when I bought it. I have snagged it on things multiple times and just flip it back into place. No issues, its lightweight and looks beautiful stacked with Loves, Diamond Tennis bracelets, and VCA vintage 5 motif bracelets.

I have the small (thin) JUC with diamonds and I love it. I wear it stacked with my small Love and my Brushed Love but sometimes stack it on my other arm with my Panthere single head bracelet and sometimes I wear it alone on the other arm. All ways look good. I do prefer the diamond one to the plain one because my husband and I both agreed that the diamond one just gives it that extra sparkle, a little something extra. I have only snagged it once but it has never bent out of shape and I take it on and off every time I wear it. I don’t sleep with it on like I do the Loves though.
