I have enough bags and finally! am very happy with my collection. However a friend is selling a lot of her bags and one of them is a Damier Ebene Hampstead MM in good condition (not great!) for $250. I do not need another bag AT ALL, but I keep thinking for $250 for an LV! Exterior looks very good. Of course plate has scratches but nothing bad. The main issue is lining has a tear but otherwise very clean on the inside. All hardware is great. If I bought it I know I could just fix that tear easily with fabric glue. Should I buy it? I have a Neverfull and Goyard tote already and barely use them. But I do have a collection so lots of bags don’t get used. What are your thoughts on this discontinued bag? Thank you!

What do you know about its authenticity? As in actually knowing, not assuming? The price is low...because of condition only? Just look at legitimate resale sites and, well, the pricing raises questions.

Plus you don't want it and you don't need it and will do repair that will further harm its resale. Sounds like a losing proposition.

Personally I'd pass. I like my bags in excellent condition and don't like being swayed by a sale/urgency. Especially since you already consider your collection complete, I think you might regret it.

Good point, I was focusing on the price point/ deal and not the overall condition. I keep my bags pristine and have found I never end up liking/ using used bags that are not pristine.
