should I wear my LV to las vegas?

I'm going to vegas this weekend, and I'm wondering if I should wear my LV bags. Lately I've been hearing a lot about people wearing LV getting robbed and I'm just really scared if that happens. So I was wondering, do you guys think it will be safe for me to wear my LV bag to las vegas?

Heck yes, I always carry LV in LV! :P You run the risk of getting robbed anywhere you go, in all honesty. Always remember to be completely aware of your surroundings at all times and keep your wits about you. Don't set your bag down or let it out of your sight, and you will be perfectly fine. The only place I would stay the heck out of is, well, a lot of places actually, but particularly Stratosphere or anywhere near the north end of the strip. (Who the heck goes to that place anyway? Ew.)

^^ I'm actuallly staying somewhere in the strip, near the north....does that make a difference?

Well, I don't tend to go anywhere near the north end of the strip when I go to Vegas, and here is why...

When I was younger, I think I had just turned 21 that week, my fiance at the time and I went to Vegas with his parents. His parents booked us at the Stratosphere, and we were pretty young and broke at the time so we were happy to just be there! Well, the first night we were there, we were sitting downstairs at some penny slots near one of the exits, and I had my Coach bag sitting on the ground next to me. A cocktail waitress came up to me, grabbed my bag, and set it on my lap. She explained that we were on the north end of the strip which is less populated with hotels and closer to the not so savory neighborhoods of LV that are near to the strip. She told me that there had been several instances where people from these unsavory neighborhoods (or wherever) had ran in through the casino doors, gabbed the bags of women who left them on the floor near their feet, and ran out with them! After that, I never stayed near the north end of the strip again. The north end has the older hotel/casinos - Stratosphere, Riviera, Circus Circus, etc. The newer, nicer hotel/casinos are all toward the middle/south end of the strip.

Idk, anyhow, sorry for the incredibly long post. Bottom line is, again, take your LV and wear it with pride - enjoy it! You run no more risk of getting robbed in Vegas than you do anywhere else. You have to be careful anywhere you go these days.

i brought my LV to LV recently & I came back fine. I walked up and down the whole strip from Aria to Venetian too. I think you should definitely bring your LV to Vegas. Like another member said, you run the risk of getting mugged anywhere.

You should and you must visit the new store at the Crystals at City Center it opened late year and I heard it's awesome from a DF who attended the opening party. Make sure you also see the lightshow at night on the facade of the LV store.

Oh MAN was your friend right. My BF is an architect and his firm worked on City Center, so he dragged me there. He had to finally drag ME out of the LV store in that place - holy cow!!! 3 stories of heaven, the most beautiful store I have ever seen in my life!!!

If you put yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time, you could get mugged no matter if you are carrying a bag or not. That being said, I wear my bags everywhere I go. Recently, I carried one all over Disneyland.
