I have a 31 mm gold rolex that I don’t love. I find it too big even though I used to wear a 36! Should I trade for a 28 or just maybe give up on rolex all together? I want a feminine watch don’t want anything chunky!!! Help!

If you think it's too small I'm confused why you're considering it? I love Rolex, I tend to prefer round shapes over the square shaped watches. I'd try on as many brands as you can and you'll know when you see it!

Sorry, I meant when I tried it on over a yr ago. I think I would love it now.

Even a 28 gold is still Rolex style: a bit tool watch functional and not super feminine (if by feminine you mean delicate or decorative)*. I would try the Rolex and also be open to other brands if you are not madly in love

ETA: it might be helpful on your search to decide what constitutes feminine to you, for example, a bracelet type link; a decorative clasp; the shape of the watch face (round; square; rectangular; or tonneau) etc etc.

I also find taking photos both close up and full length body while wearing the same plain clothing can help narrow the decision on buying watches or jewelry

I have a 28 Rolex and I’m constantly thinking about whether to sell it to get a 31. IMO unless your wrists are very small, I think the 28 is a little awkward because it’s a dainty size while also looking very chunky. It’s like neither here nor there… not a feminine, dressy and petite watch like a Cartier Panthere but also not a cool, masculine oversized watch like a professional Rolex. When I do like it on people, they tend to be petite gals such that it LOOKS like a 31 on them proportionally.

Interesting! You are right about it being a chunkier watch. I do find the 28mm feminine though. I will have to try it on again to see! I feel like I have avg wrists at 6 inches. Perhaps I change my mind too much!
