Should I still buy the Galliera ?

Mum came from Paris and instead of hauling the Galliera that I asked for, it happened that the Galliera is sold out in Paris so she just buy the Beverly which I originally want to buy in MC.

I dont know if I should still buy the Galliera (already have monogram) or buy a black MC (which I havent got).

What's your opinion ?

I absolutely adore the Galliera but I would wait til they fix the defects they have been experiencing with the strap. :o(

I thought that I read in another thread that according to LV reps the design problems had been worked out and that the newer Gallieras were fine.

Yes. I think the galliera is different from beverly. One is structure. The other is not

^^ that's a good Q. My friend's DH bought her a wallet from Paris and she wanted to exchange it for a different style. But I am not sure if the store locally would do that.

I am not sure. If you have all of the paperwork, then they might work with you. I also think that the amount of time since the actual purchase will be a factor. I would call LV or go to a botique asap.

I have exchanged items in different botiques from where I purchased them with no problem. But that has all been within the US - item bought in the US exchanged for another in the US at a different botique.

My friend only have the credit card receipt. The LV receipt was taken away at the custom. So I gathered she can't do an exchange.
