Should I sell Love cuff and get the new narrow bracelet?

Hey all- I used to have a full Love bracelet in size 17 and sold it because I don't like wearing jewelry 24/7. So I bought a cuff and the 17 was too tight so I got the 18. It is loose at the wrist, so I wear it further up my arm. Question- do you all think I should sell my cuff and get the new bracelet that is easier to take on and off? Thanks for all your responses.[emoji4]IMG_1492467551.517723.jpgIMG_1492467596.285712.jpgIMG_1492467609.971595.jpg

I will wait for others with Loves with the new system to comment on that but I wear size 18 in the cuff and it was too big on me as well initially. Cartier adjusted it by curving and slightly bending both sides --now it fits snugly but with just enough movement to make the C (or half turn) and pull it right off/put it on...

I didn't know they could do that. Did they have to ship it off and did they charge you? Thanks. [emoji4]

I work in a profession where I'm not allowed to wear any jewellery at work so whilst I loved the look and concept of the original love it would never have worked for me. The cuff gave a similar look but the opening was just too big and kept getting stuck so I decided against it. I have ended up with the thin love in yellow gold which I absolutely love! It's really easy to take on and off. It is a different look from the cuff & original love because of the difference in width but I like that it's more dainty! So I think it depends on whether you want the look of the original and how much the size/looser fit of your current cuff bothers you. GL deciding [emoji4]

I would stay with the cuff. IMHO, the narrow is too thin to be worn alone unless you have very small wrists. I think the thin looks best when it's stacked with a regular love bracelet.

I don't have a Cartier boutique close, so I'm going to call and see if they can adjust my cuff. I also don't stack too much as I want to avoid scratches![emoji12]

I agree, I much prefer the cuff alone to a thin love alone.

Thanks for your feedback. If you don't mind me asking, do you think my cuff looks too big on me? I called Cartier about sizing it and she was very noncommittal and said to bring it by a boutique and let them look at it. I'm sure if anything could be done they would have to send it to NY. I would hate for it to be made too small. What's a girl to do....

If I'm 100% honest your cuff looks bigger than I would like for me, but everyone is different! My cuff is a 17 and when I tried on a full bangle 16 was about right so I think they do need sizing up. However I would have wanted a bangle that fitted quite snugly and some people prefer looser.
It's so hard to tell in photos, but one of the things I like about mine is that it doesn't hang down much below my arm, but sits quite flush. I've tried to find a photo that shows what I mean!
I still think though that a single cuff is preferable (especially if you like to take it off regularly) to a thin love. But that is just my preference:smile:

The repair specialist works in the boutique closest to me...he just came out from his workshop/office and did it on the spot. He shaped it equally on both sides, adjusted, put it on, took it off, readjusted, then put it on for a final time and viola. It fits beautifully on my wrist. Doesn't move at all. No charge. I do think your cuff has a lot more space on the sides than mine did so you may want them to try to adjust a smaller size, if possible.

If you do this, measure your wrist and your inner arm - where you put/take the cuff off--sample here (I think you can wear the smaller size):

Oh, that's so nice they could fix it on the spot. I called Cartier and she said they would look at it and probably send it to NY. The boutique I'd be going to is in Dallas.

My full bangle was a 17, so I tried the cuff in that size and it was too tight. So I went up to the 18 and looks too big. I have to wear it up my arm. Thanks for the pic!
