Should I keep this small grey trendy cc?

I found this small grey trendy cc with light gold hardware on a well known preloved website for $4800. It was listed as excellent condition, but it’s basically unused as the protective stickers are still intact on all of the hardware including the Chanel plate and there’s no signs of wear! The bag came with a box, dustbag and authenticity card. However, there are no original tags.

The trendy wasn’t on my radar until recently and I liked that it wasn’t black since I own SO many black bags. I think it’s a gorgeous bag, but I’m wondering if the lambskin will make me hesitant to use it. It’s also my first trendy so I’m still trying to gauge if it will suit me (bags usually grow on me over time and I’m always late to the party! Haha) I primarily don’t want to return it and then regret doing so down the line. I also don’t know if another grey like this will come out.

What do you think? Keep or return? If I try to buy it later on, will the price be much steeper? Does anybody know which collection this is from? The serial starts with 29

It’s a gorgeous bag! I’d have a hard time letting go if it. Grey is a great neutral too and that shade may be hard to come by again. If you’re careful with your bags then carrying a lambskin bag shouldn’t worry you too much. I have several lambskin pieces. I protect it with a water and stain repellent spray and I try to enjoy them. But you should get something that you’ll get the most use out of. Good luck with your decision!

Thanks for your input! I think it's a super cute bag, but it doesn't make my heart go crazy like when I purchased my most recent 19 bag. I'm wondering if it'll just take time and maybe I just have bag fatigue from buying the two so close in time . Luckily I have a 30 day return window so maybe I'll experiment with a few outfits and see how it looks.

Do you think the price I paid was fair? I'm not too familiar with the pricing of trendys on preloved market

You bought this bag because you wanted it. If returning wasn't an option, would you love the bag more? Would you use it? Would selling be an option?

It’s a beautiful bag, but re your feeling above, If that’s really how you feel, then return and buy something that makes your heart sing.

Note: I am a dark neutrals person, and any lighter bag would give me pause. Your rethinking might just be due to the color which in a sea of a black wardrobe, will be very different and stand out. But, I Do think it could become a favorite bc it would function as both a color and as a neutral in a dark wardrobe.

I said keep as the Trendy CC is my favourite bag and I also have it in this grey BUT you need to love it so go after what your heart says.

I personally think it's beautiful, and the Trendy is on my "to buy" list. But if you find your response to it is less than what you normally feel when you buy a bag, perhaps reconsider. My heart also "went crazy" when I bought my 19. For these prices (and even pre-loved ones!) I want to feel that way every time.
