Should I keep this camellia mini bag?

I bought this bag yesterday but I’m a little bothered by the chain and how it’s attached with two holes on one side and one hole on the other side. I also find it slides off my shoulder over my coats when I try to wear it that way. Does anyone else have this issue or is it me?

The bag looks amazing on you. I prefer the chain not dangling like the pearl crush style. This is cleaner looking imo. I like how you can wear it not only crossbody but shoulder carry too. As long as you don't encounter issues with adjusting the strap, I say enjoy your bag!

While I love the classic shape of the bag, the unevenness of the chain would bother me greatly.

I have learned, if I am questioning something regarding the bag (whether it is the color, size, etc.) it is not the bag for me. Best to return or exchange.

I like the unusual chain style, but a bag falling off my shoulder would annoy me. Try it without a coat, I have a couple of coats where nothing stays on, it's more the outerwear rather than the bag.

It looks good on you, but I personally like symmetry and the chain would would bother me.

Update for anyone curious. I ended up exchanging it for this heart mini bag which I think has a slightly nicer chain configuration.

I’m biased I bought that bag yesterday too as something bigger than my WOC. I thought about the chain as my WOC has a shoulder strap part of the chain and this one doesn’t. However I agree if you don’t feel comfortable and you have a short list of issues then maybe get a bag you’ll like, looks like you did!

Agreed which is why I ended up exchanging it. I also found that the camellia adjuster wasn't smooth. It kept getting stuck when I tried to move it to shorten and lengthen the strap. It also twisted a lot since it's not fixed to the bag so I kept straightening it. The sweetheart bag doesn't have these strap related issues. I loved the lambskin bag itself though! It was so soft and supple. All my gripes were with the strap configuration.

Great choice, the sweetheart bag looks good on you! I also prefer this bag more in terms of design and that it's in caviar leather. While the camellia button is definitely a cute detail, it's too bad it has its limitation in smooth movement compared to the heart button.
