I feel it depends on your aesthetic.
The Tiffany necklace is very clean and minimalist. I have seen quite a few ladies wear it and it looks beautiful on them. However it is very dainty.
Do you like a minimal look or are you more hardware heavy?
Cartier is a little more pronounced especially with that double chain. It’s obviously not a statement piece but it is louder than the Tiffany.
The cons that I see for each piece are:
- I wonder, since it’s so thin, if the Tiffany necklace potentially can be bent. Not saying the gold is that soft and the way it sits on the neck/collar area probably means it won’t really get into contact with anything but it’s something that comes to mind.
- I feel that the chains looped around the Love circle will eventually scratch the metal overtime. While I don’t mind normal wear and tear on my fine jewelry, I’d be annoyed to see a lot of wear in one (or in this case 2) spots on a piece and have everything else be more polished and shiny.
But both pieces, I think, are great daily pieces and would probably go with everything.
Just my 2 cents! Go with whatever makes your heart sing more when you try them on. Good luck and happy shopping!
