SA offered a b35 barenia with gold hardware. The leather and hardware combo is exactly what I want but incorrect size... would prefer a b30. Wavering though since the leather and hardware combo is so hard to come by....

I would wait for the 30. It’s really what you’ve been wanting. In addition, personally for me, a 35 is too heavy.

Its my dream bag but if the size is wrong for you its the wrong bag and say no.
If I was offered a b25 or b30 in Barenia I'd turn it down as I personally dont like small bags (even though my SA thinks a 35 is too big and heavy for me )

Did you try it on? If so, and you felt the size didn't suit the look & feel (and weight) you wanted, pass on it because it's too much money for something that doesn't quite fit.

Agree with @SpicyTuna13 you should “try it on”/ take a look if at all possible. If not then definitely wait for what you really want.

If fauve and a 35 I say get it for sure otherwise I would hold out for the 30.

Don’t feel at all pressured that you have to take it even if you ask to see it and try it on. If you find that the size just won’t work, you know for sure that you are making the right decision when you say no. And there is always the possibility that you may be pleasantly surprised!
