I currently have 6 designer camera handbags.

2 Gucci- black, dusty pink (more like beige with pink undertones)
3 Burberry- Maroon, Grey, Pink
1 Ysl- Sea Turquoise

Now Ysl has a new beautiful color called cinnamon! I haven't been able to see it in person. Should I get it? I already have 6 camera bags. I also have another maple brown crossbody. The beautiful color seems too hard to resist! Please let me know your thoughts, how much is too much?

This is the bag:

Is the Gucci in dusky pink a Soho Disco (embossed logo with a tassel) or Marmont line (quilted) Camera?

I think if it’s a style you gravitate towards, buying it makes sense but I think the dusky pink plus this cinnamon colour would cancel one another out. (Like the outfits you would wear a cinnamon bag with you’d probably wear the Porcelain Beige or Rose Beige with.) I might sell the Gucci and stick with the YSL if I had my heart set on the Lou.

The colour of the YSL is really pretty and looks like the dark beige Chanel used and Longchamp’s Camel colour they had the Le Pliage in a bit ago.

The Gucci dusty pink is from the marmont line. Yes, the outfits I would wear with the cinnamon bag, I could also wear with the gucci dusty pink. But I love the gucci dusty pink color, lol. I was worried about them being too similar, in the same color family. Thanks for the feedback.

Cinnamon reminds me a lot of Hermes Gold - which goes with everything at least 70% of the year.

I love camera bags too, they are really hard to resist (so don't let me stop you).

I have at least 3 (Gucci, Chanel etc) I would love a Saint Laurent - but I'm trying to be good  .

Do you use all the camera bags you already own?
If not, I'd consider maybe selling one bag to make room for a new one.
If yes, and this is a style you regularly or mainly carry, I don't see why not get another one. That's a gorgeous color and I like the chevron quilting.

Playing devil's advocate, I suggest finding a different style. I understand the appeal. When you find a pair of perfectly-fitting pants, it's tempting to buy them in every color, but then you're just wearing the same pants, over and over and over again, like a uniform. If many bags in the same style but different colors appeals and suits your lifestyle, great. But stylistically, I think it's more interesting to change things up.

Did you say that you have another bag (crossbody) that is basically the same color as the one you are considering buying? If so, is that crossbody one you wear often? If not, why not? Because of the style? Would you wear this one more often? I guess I'm trying to understand whether this would be a redundancy in your wardrobe or if it offers anything new.

Yes, I did have a maple brown crossbody from Burberry. But I ended up giving it to my mom. I don't have a camera bag in this new cinnamon color. And yes, I do have other designer bags that are not camera bags  I just find camera bags to be very practical and easy to use.

So it sounds like it would not be a duplicate color of something you have already and it is a style/shape that you know works for you. In that case, I say go for it!!
