Hi there,

I'm not sure if I'm being too picky, but is this worth exchanging? I don't know if you can see, but the leather is kind of warped like it's been used, even though it's not. It's warped on both sides. This was also the first KS purchase where they didn't bother putting it in nice tissue paper or give a card. I know I'm fussing, but I wanted to know your thoughts. I mean, I want to feel like I got what I paid for...

That's what I was thinking. I opened it and wasn't too happy with how warped it looked all around. I know it doesn't really look like it, but it does look like it has been through some wear as is... I hate that I don't live by a store. It'd make it easier haha.

Such a shame! :(

It doesnt look too bad from the photos, like the indentations came from the handles being packaged down or tried as a crossbody. It may have been a return or a store display. If it was a sale bag that is sold out now, that would be my guess.

If you arent happy with it send it back. There will always be another black bag to buy in the future. If you are particularily attached to the bag, I think it would still look lovely.

If it is in stock, call customer service for an exchange. They are usually helpful.

I ended up returning it. Turns out I didn't fall in love with the bag like I thought I would, maybe because of the warped leather or not. But after having those feelings after a couple of days, I realized I'd rather return it and get my money back instead of have a bag I feel "meh" about.

From my experience, if they didn't use nice paper or give a card, it either came from an outlet (where the boutiques send their sellable damages) or a boutique packaged it in a hurry. I would take it in to exchange it and definitely complain about the fact it was sent to standard!

Hey - just wanted to let you know the boutiques don't always send damaged to the outlet :) i worked at the outlet and there was points where we got tons and tons of transfers still in the wrapping brand new and perfect in condition. I got tons of beautiful bags for a steal :)
