Should I buy this bag or not?

Ok, I am on a very tight budget and have been looking for a new fall leather bag.

I found this one at the Danier outlet. It's chocolate leather and suede, on sale for $149. Here it is:

Even though it's on sale, it's still expensive for me, so I want to be sure it's a good choice.

If I don't buy it, then my current bag will have to work for fall, but I'm sick of it and I'm not sure if it's in season. Here it is:ImageUploadedByPurseForum1447129165.693116.jpg

What should I do?

I think you shouldn't go shopping for a new bag just because you're sick of your current bag; that can lead to bad choices. It's like you're buying because if you DON'T you'll run screaming down the roadway.

However, I do have to say the chocolate leather and suede bag is very pretty!

You are on a budget: If you get this bag, will you feel more sick because it was so expensive than you feel now because you're tired of looking at your same old bag? (Which, by the way, I think is quite beautiful!)

I wouldn't do it because you sound like you have zero peace about it. You sound like you're getting this bag because you want something new and this one sorta kinda fits in your budget, so it will do for now. You don't sound like you love the bag and you don't sound like you are really comfortable spending the money right now.

Your current bag is great. Tie a scarf on it or add a bag charm or do something to dress it up a little bit and wait until you have the money and the right bag for fall.

Plus, depending on where you live of course, suede isn't a great choice for fall ;)

Generally speaking i have understood Danier bags are well made. That said you sound unsure and there are sales around so if you don't feel it's right perhaps look around?

Suede is a tricky one in winter IMO with the salt. What is bothering you about the current bag? tons of exotic prints out there right now... i def agree with updating your bag with accessories to reduce costs.

Agree with this. Wait and buy something you love, not something that'll do for now.

I think you should wait. And I don't know if your beautiful bag is in season, but who cares? I agree that giving your bag a new look with a scarf or charm is a good idea and a lot more affordable.

Don't get it. Your current one is really cute and more chic than the one that you are looking at. I would save the money and wait until maybe after the holidays... Since you're on a tight budget, maybe make it a game for yourself to see how long you can go without getting a new bag?

I like the new bag. Do you have a few days to think about it? You'll know better if you like it if you let a week or so go by, and you can also look at other bags to see if there is anything you like better.

As much as I love all my fancier bags, it's the little black leather duffle that gets the most use. I don't think you can go wrong with a simple bag that goes with everything.
