Should I buy non QB from not my home store?

Hi everyone: I was offered a non-QB (GP 30) while traveling. I am waiting for a QB in my home store and am not sure if buying the non QB would negatively impact my profile back home. Thoughts?

I have 2 hours to decide so your thoughts are much appreciated!!!!

Buy if your SA is lenient and will not take offense on that. Some SAs specifically tell you that loyalty is a big thing to them.
Only you can tell how your SA is.

If you are worried, just ask your home SA to bring in a GP for you.

My home SA is fine with me shopping2X a year with an FSH SA (Both know of each other)
Within the continental US, I shop exclusively with my home SA. I prefer to do that.
The things I buy at FSH do not affect the amount I spend at home.

Thanks so much. My home store is in California and I’m currently in Vegas. I’ve asked my SA to bring in a GP30 and it’s been a while… he’s very easygoing and it is absolutely NOT a habit of mine to buy things outside of my home store.

With competition the way it is these days, I wouldn’t risk it. A purchase at another store of any item will look like a lost sale to your store manager when approving quota bag offers. If you’re ok with that being the reason someone else is approved for a bag over you, then it’s worth it. If not, don’t.

Any decent SA will have this attitude.
An SA or SM can only legitimately feel they have 'lost a sale' if they had been in a position to supply you with exactly what you want and you had gone elsewhere.
With Hermes you have to buy something you want when the opportunity presents itself.
It is not going to prevent you buying other items in your home store, therefore you home store is not losing your custom.
In some ways buying what you want when you see it is indicative of your personal brand loyalty and that you are not just buying to get a quota bag to flip.

My home store is in US. I was traveling in Asia and was offered a 2424 mini. I told my SA about it and he said wow that's lucky and he said they have not received one since beginning of year. I don't think a good SA will be so petty.

I like this saying, will keep it in mind. Every store gets different stocks even in the same state and if there's something you really want and when travelling you see it (or even online), get it first...a non QB bag doesnt really add to the prespend (that's what I hear). Better to have it then to miss out. And there's a PI next Jan so like others said any decent SA wouldnt mind the occasional spend at another store or online if they dont see it coming in the pipeline...
