I’ve been looking for a specific small flap in a particular color and leather for months. Its finally available on the RealReal. With all of the issues around their authentication, should I give it a shot anyways? Im planing to get the bag authenticated again by Zeko authentication. Is it even worth the hassle or I should forget it? Please give me your opinion. Thanksssssssss

What I would do is reach out to their customer service and have them confirm if you can return the bag if it turns out to be not authentic! And if they say yes, take a screenshot of that for your records. I used to stay away from them but I gave up a while ago lol
You need to be very clear with TRR that if the bag is not authentic & you intend to use
Zeko as the authenticator that TRR will accept the return.

My rep for therealreal just told me that it's possible to have a bag over 2,000. shipped to a location and you can look at it in person. (Provided you have a therealreal location near you). I've always avoided buying bags from them since it's final sale on bags, so she offered this solution.
I got to chat with CS and took screenshots of the chat that they would take the bags back if its not authentic. I then got the bag authenticated by Zeko, it was real and I kept it. A very good experience indeed.
