  1. Hi everyone,

I'am about to buy my first Chanel bag. The price is incredible along with the quality of the bag. Even though the bag has the code of 13x, but it's really new and looks unused to me. However, the age of the bag is what make me concerned. It was born for like about 10 years already. Will the leather be torned or discolorate or having any troubles as it's old? My bag is the Chanel Classic Flap bag in size Medium and color black. Thank you so much! Please help me out!
  2. Well, do the pictures show it being torn, worn or discolored? These bags should last a lifetime, and beyond, if they are cared for. You might expect a Kate Spade bag to last ten years...

  4. It’s beautiful. I have an 11 series and it’s still perfect and my most used bag.

  5. It appears to be in great condition for a 10 year old bag. I am assuming you had this bag authenticated and the authenticity card is included from the seller. You are doubting this would be purchase due to the age of the bag but since we don't know the price, we assume the price is reflective of it. I don't think you will be happy if you pull the trigger on this bag due to your doubts.
  6. I recommend posting in the Authenticate thread. I just bought a 14 series Maxi--and I am in love. Older Chanel is such a good buy.

  7. the price is about 2700. Is it too expensive? Thank you so much!
  8. Get it authenticated.
  9. I suggest you have the bag authenticated. If it turns out to be fake/counterfeit, $2,700 would have been too much to pay for this bag.
  10. That looks like a great condition bag. I got my flap in 2012 and it still looks pristine. I’m about 2 years, it’ll be a 10 year old bag!
  11. Provided that it is authentic I would! The bag looks like it is in immaculate condition and older bags tend to be more hardy. I have a 13 series too that I got preloved as well and it still looks like the day I got it. I find myself worry less about it compare to my other bags even though the Chanel is much more expensive because i feel it has stand the test of time ;)
