I think you should definitely get one. Yes they are very expensive but if you look after the bag it will last many many years. I find that any outfit is complemented - a simple jeans, jumper, boots outfit looks fab with a chanel flap. I wanted one for many years and was given one as a birthday present by my boyfriend last year. I was so excited when I left the shop with my bag all beautifully wrapped. I hope you get your bag really soon.

This is so true - I have a vintage bag which is almost 50 years old and it is STILL looking good! So yes, they are expensive, but treated well and cared for properly, they should last you a very long time x
