Should I be concerned with leather trim on newer bag

First bag is 30 years old.. leather trim is still in perfect condition.

Bottom bag is 14 years old, just got it.. but I’m wondering if the leather trim will be an issue in the future… please help ..

The Bosphore backpack actually looks like it's in fabulous condition, being 14 years old !!
This kind of trim is prone to eventually wearing down, as it does on my NF GM. Worse case scenario , they do replace vachetta trim if you ever get to that point. But at 14 years and looking like that, you have a ways to go before worrying about it. Congrats on finding one in that condition.
