Should I alter these vintage givenchy ear clips?

Hi everyone,

I found these 1980 Givenchy clips and think they are cute and I love this 80s style so much.
Nevertheless I wonder if I should remove the drop (and the eyelet of course).

What do you think?

I personally love them as is and would hate to alter the design. Are you planning on wearing them as everyday earrings or with certain outfits? If you think you will wear them more without the purple drop, then go for it. However, you mentioned loving the 80’s design so why not keep as is and purchase a similar style for everyday wear.

Pretty earrings! You should keep them as is- any alterations will effect the value of the piece.

I got them for just about 15,- USD (!) but...no, it was a very stupid idea! Thank you so much!
