Should Chanels be stored snugly or loosely in dust bags?

Slightly obsessive but can you give me some advice on whether I should store my Chanel purses in dustbags that are much bigger than the purse or just about the same size as the purse itself?

It's really obsessive and nitpicky I know...but just wondering!

I don't think it really matters, as long as the strap (chain in particular) does not come in contact with leather, which can mark, dent and scratch the leather.

FYI - try not to use on light colored handbags, especially patent due to color mitigration. I rather use a white pillow case.

ITA! Use the black dustbag only with black patent. otherwise, get yourself cheap pillow cases in the color of the bag.

I use the pillow case trick too lol to match the color. also makes it easier to choose a bag for the day
