Omgggg. I bought the dbty and aquamarine bracelets. They actually measure at about 7.3 inchs. So I had customer service shorten at 6.5. Well that felt still dangly so went to 6 inch. On sunday went to pick them up. Omggg too tight. So the lovely weekend customer service lady and I decided to put back eight links back on. The links were saved. I dont have a good feeling about this i think it still might be tight. Will they balk if its still not perfect??? Maybe I should have left it at 6.5. My wrist measures at 6 inchs. Anyone have had these shortening dilemnas??? Its depressing me.. she did mention that it might be tighter during summer months. Its winter now... Anyway, Ive altogether waited six weeks for the two alterations so she put it as urgent so just a weeks wait!

I think these bracelets look best when they fit close to the wrist so trust your instinct and hope for the best. If your wrist is 6 inches then 6 would have been too close but adding some extra links while not taking it to 6.5 sounds like a good plan.

I'd try 6.2 or 6.4 inches - an even number - so you have the same number of links on either side.

I'm sure Tiffany would want you to have your perfect bracelet. After all, their brilliant customer service is part of the reason why people pay so much for the brand :p

Ack! I hope it returns to you soon!

Oh no I hope they never do jump rings, as much as I find them convenient I feel like they take away from the piece when it's silver and a bracelet. A necklace though I think is more forgivable since you can hide it under your hair. I'm not sure where you live but if its still time consuming and you're not satisfied when I've dropped off pieces at the flagship store it's handled within a couple of days and ready to pick up.
