Shopping for 23S mini flap

Hi everyone I am new to Chanel.I have a shopping question
So I want to buy a mini rectangular classic flap in black, I went to my local boutique last month and got added to the wishlist by an SA. I texted the SA couple days ago about how possible will I get it in the upcoming 23S restock his response was like “I should start looking something else while I wait for the mini…”. I also asked him what would be new price of the mini on 3/1 before the price increase, he says he cannot provide that info.. so overall I don’t think he is pretty helpful through the text but he is very nice when I met him in store.
Anyways, I heard the restock in US is on 3/14. Will the restock happen on morning of 3/14 so I can go to the store and check myself? Or is it happening continuously thought out the month and should I just wait for his text message when it is my turn to get the bag? Thanks!

My advise would be to visit on the morning of 3/14 and ask your SA personally again. The Chanel game is tough especially in some areas in the US.

The Chanel game is extremely tough in the US. Dunno why. When I was visiting Asia, it wasn't that bad. I mean I saw a lot of inventory and I don't have a shopping history in Asia. The SAs were all very helpful which is why I bought my WOC in 22k Dark Pink, I wasn't even planning on a purchase, but this particular SA bent over backwards to help me check out many items, including taking off an item from a mannequin! I was very touched.

I would say visit the store again and/or go to another store if there are others close to you. A good SA is hard to find and my personal experience (in NYC) is that most aren’t very invested in building a new relationship unless you are spending a lot with them (which I’m not).

Yeah, I think this dude is making it pretty clear he has no interest in helping you get this bag. Start branching out to find what you want.
