Hi everyone, I'm in the market for a shopper tote. I'll mainly be using it at work to carry my 13" laptop, files and other stuff.

I really like the Givenchy Antigona Shopper Tote in Small.

The width is 33cm which is just right, I don't want anything larger. It's also more vertical, than horizontal which is what I want. BUT I think the handle drop is too small? I also don't see many photos of people carrying this by the shoulder, so I'm looking for other options.

The Givenchy Nightingale shopper tote is a good silhouette (vertical) but again, I don't really like the handles and overall aesthetic there.

Another one where the handle drop is a good is the Etro Canvas Tote but I have no idea if these bags are any good.

Can you guys give me any more recommendations? I'm very confused.

If you're up for spending $4k, the Bottega Veneta Rete tote is fantastic for work. When I traveled a lot for work it could easily hold my laptop, files, iPad and purse stuff. With the sides connected it becomes a City bag that looks polished but relaxed. Now that I don't travel much, it's a great hauler or overnight bag. The straps are also adjustable making it easy to wear with even a heavy coat.

It's very expensive but if you're willing to go gently used, you can get one on the secondary market for up to 60 percent off.
