Shopbop shipping to Canada question

Does anyone know how does it go for Shopbop shipping to Canada?

With the new trade deal the threshold for online shopping from US into a Canada is now 150$, does anyone know if it applies for Shopbop where it’s located in US?

I’m trying to buy a pair of shoes that’s about 227$ CAD, and shipping with USPS - CanadaPost, does anyone know whether I’ll only get charged for taxes or also duty since I’m wondering it’s coming from US it might not get duty(?)

I regularly purchase items online through ShopBop to Canada. However, I can't say my order has ever been under $150! LOL. I always pay the duty upfront during check out. Items arrive faster and returns are free (refund includes the duty).

However, I have noticed when purchasing other items online from the USA, example a specific book on alla prima painting, I did not have to pay duty as it was under $150.

I would say why not try it out! The hardest part will be keeping your order under $150!

Yeah that’s why I’m concerned because my order will be about 170$ USD which exceeds the limit and I was wondering whether I’ll have to pay duty as well.
