Very nice of your sales assistant to offer you a set of knotting cards. She must have liked you. Sometimes if you ask for the latest set your are told they are out of stock.
Always thought of them as an adult version of the collectable cards kids swap. The different sets come up on eBay. Not sure how many sets have been issued to date. Anyone?
