I am new to PBF so quick Hi to all the lovely ladies here.
I have also posted this in a thread elsewhere but have been recommended to start my own thread to get more responses.
I have been sorting through my clothes over the last few weeks. I have gained a lot of weight recently so its very unsettling to be looking at a wardrobe of clothes that didnt fit me. I gave about £2,000 worth of clothes to my niece about 1 month ago (about 2 big dustbin bags full). About 3 bags to Oxfam and about 2 bags to cousins.
I am now doing round 2 of culling and have given 2 bags again to Oxfam and have about 1 bag of really high quality stuff still with labels I plan on selling on eBay. 1 thing I noticed was that the more high end stuff has fared much better. Also Zara stuff I bought 10 years ago when their quality was still great has survived quite well.
As such trying to get into the habit of buying well as opposed to buying a ton of cheap junk which I clear out every year at great pains
Anyway, I do not wish to spend a fortune of clothes whilst losing weight so have decided to concentrate on shoes and accessories for now. I plan to buy 1-2 pairs each month until I have pared things down to 20 essential items to get me through day to day life. I have come up with a list as follows and would greatly appreciate your comments ideas etc. Also please be mindful that I live in the UK so most of my purchases will be made here.
Thanks !
