I am new to PBF so quick Hi to all the lovely ladies here.

I have also posted this in a thread elsewhere but have been recommended to start my own thread to get more responses.

I have been sorting through my clothes over the last few weeks. I have gained a lot of weight recently so its very unsettling to be looking at a wardrobe of clothes that didnt fit me. I gave about £2,000 worth of clothes to my niece about 1 month ago (about 2 big dustbin bags full). About 3 bags to Oxfam and about 2 bags to cousins.

I am now doing round 2 of culling and have given 2 bags again to Oxfam and have about 1 bag of really high quality stuff still with labels I plan on selling on eBay. 1 thing I noticed was that the more high end stuff has fared much better. Also Zara stuff I bought 10 years ago when their quality was still great has survived quite well.

As such trying to get into the habit of buying well as opposed to buying a ton of cheap junk which I clear out every year at great pains

Anyway, I do not wish to spend a fortune of clothes whilst losing weight so have decided to concentrate on shoes and accessories for now. I plan to buy 1-2 pairs each month until I have pared things down to 20 essential items to get me through day to day life. I have come up with a list as follows and would greatly appreciate your comments ideas etc. Also please be mindful that I live in the UK so most of my purchases will be made here.

Thanks !

Here are a few of my suggestions to add on to the ones above!

2 Ballet flats - need suggestions on good mid-priced brands that last
Vera Wang Lillians in either navy or blue and one metallic pair... they're about $200 (the glitzier ones usually get marked down) and they're pretty much identical to Lanvin.
2 Everyday sandals (2-3 inch every day) - mid-priced
Jack Rogers maybe? Also Lily Pulitzer.
2 Everyday flats - mid-priced
Again, Vera Wang! Or if you want to spend a little more, Chanel for the ultimate in flats.
1 Nude/neutral heels - mid-priced to high end
Christian Louboutin. Definitely Louboutin. Makes a gorgeous nude shoe.
1 Red heels - mid-priced to high-end
Again, Louboutin! Ultimate sexy shoes
2 Courts (work etc) - ALREADY Have
1 Clubbing/ going out (mid-priced as they will get ruined)
Jessica Simpson makes cute mid-priced shoes that would probably work for clubbing
1 Animal print - high-end
Either Christian Louboutin (leopard) or maybe Manolo Blahik or Jimmy Choo (exotics)
2 Glitzy sandals - high-end
Either Manolo or Giuseppe Zanotti (king of glitzy sandals!)
2 Knee high boots - mid-priced to high-end
Gucci, they're gorgeous and sleek.
2 Trainers - Already have
1 Flip-flops - cheap chic to mid-priced
For chic, Chanel camellia jelly flip flops are beautiful! For function and comfort, Rainbow leather flipflops. They are all leather and mold to your feet!

Hope that helps!
