Hi all, my friend just got an email from one of the stores in Europe and told her that the order she put in 2 years ago is ready. (just a regular leather and color). I am wondering if Hermes still allow to ship the leather purse? Due to the new policy this year, she is kind of confused if Hermes can still send the purse to her?

I assume your friend is not in Europe. Hermes will not ship it to her, she has to collect it by herself from the store unless the order was made at fsh.

I just received my order from FSH a week ago. They are allowed to ship overseas if it is an order. I suppose your friend put in the order personally 2 years back as they don't take order over the phone. If the bag is shipped overseas, the email will indicate the amount less of 10% VAT, plus the shipping cost. Upon arrival in your friend's home country, she might need to pay for her home country's tax as well. The courier company will pay the customs in advance and your friend will have to pay the courier company for the tax amount upon delivery.

Yes,She did. Email sent already, due to time difference, just still waiting for the response. I will keep you updated and see what the response from SA.
I was just checking for her here while waiting for the information since there are so many experts and buying experience here!! :)

Where did she order? Most of the H stores are closed in Europe on Sunday. Hope she will get a reply tomorrow.
