I did a big order of vintage goodies from France last week, completely forgetting about the international shipping situation. Although the seller immediately shipped them, they are still sitting at the post office in France over a week later. Anyone have recent experience with how long it's taking to get stuff shipped from France to America? A friend of mine recently waited six months to get a package from the Philippines so I'm like .

I just can speak for myself, living in Germany. Each time I ordered something from Asia I got it quite fast despite the corona situation worldwide (which means within 1-2 weeks). I ordered a bag from Celine from their website 2 weeks ago and it was here within 2 days. The package came from Italy, which is our neighbor country obviously but it surprised me to see no big differences concerning the shipping.. no matter from where it‘s being delivered - compared to former „normal“ times.

In France it totally depends on the area and they are taking precautions very seriously, if anybody from the post office had a positive test or has to self isolated due to member of the household, apparently they don't move anything. Could be something like that? I recently had a parcel being stuck along the way I sent to a family member in France for that reason.

I order an item from overseas thinking it would take a month. Tracking stopped when it arrived in the US. It was delivered in 2 weeks to my surprise.
I ordered an item from France in mid-July and it took 2 weeks to arrive to Calif.
Had an order from France shipped Friday and arrived the following Wednesday.
I ordered sth from Germany 2 weeks ago, but it haven't been here yet...

I'm guessing maybe the post offices in France have lower staffing. I had three packages come from this seller and each sat in France for a little over a week before it got sent out, but then it proceeded normally (from NY to Southern California where I am). So altogether maybe two weeks per package from order to delivery, not too bad fortunately!
