For those that own shiny croc bags and use bag charms: Have you had any issues with dulling of the hide under the charm over time?

I haven’t had any issues with my Himalayan croc and it’s charm rubbing but I think matte leather would be less of an issue. …Especially with how light plays on shiny croc I fear a dull spot might be a potential eyesore.

I’m currently waffling between commissioning a matching charm for my shiny porosus bag or skipping it.

Thanks ahead

My Raylowi has a Birkin like charm looking like a lock hanging on it, which hasn’t dulled it-I’ve had it several years-although recently offered the bag to my Mother..

My matte Jimmy Choo is in better condition and older -I think matte is harder wearing tbh..
