Does anyone have an opinion about this brand? I am looking for holiday gifts for men and I am intrigued by these. They are include in the Bloomingdales F&F sale, so this would be the time to buy. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I have a 40mm white face with black strap (I am a woman). Seems very high quality and quite classic looking. Plus I am from the Detroit area, where they are made and was proud to support the business ;)

I bought one for my partner last year. She loves it, but thinks it is too heavy for everyday use. She wants to buy me one but I'm torn. I like them alot, but can't decide on a strap color.

I am also concerned about the expansion of the brand, they are spreading themselves really thin with the leather goods, bikes, watches and now dog accessories. Their price point to entry is really reasonable, but things are going up quickly with the limited editions etc.

If you do buy, buy directly from them - their packaging and presentation is lovely. If you are not that choosy, Nordstrom Rack usually will have one or two that are discounted.

It's a great way to boost the economy of Detroit, but I find the product to be over-priced and rather misrepresented, since it is essentially a swi-nese watch with a bit of American production thrown in the mix.

I think they are fun. We have a free standing shinola store that recently opened in in Minneapolis and the watches are very cool. I've been tempted but can't find just the right combo of face and strap that I want

I bought one for my husband for Christmas last year. He's a watch collector, and has many different brands. The Shinola is one of his favorites! It is a beautifully made watch. The presentation (i.e., box and wrapping) was exceptional as well!

One of the guys at work has them. They are extremely well made and have the same weight to them as the more expensive Swiss brands. They are beautiful. They look so retro chic. I think I want to get a 36 for myself as well.
