Shay shoulder bag

Hi all!

Ive been eyeing up the shay shoulder bag in saddle and I wondered if anyone knows if the slouch that’s in the pics is there when on the shoulder? I quite like the slouchy appearance of it but in some pics it looks quite structured and straight along the top is it the difference between using the two straps? Shorter = straighter, longer = slouchy?

Mine sags with the short strap. I haven't tried it with the longer strap. I trained it by putting the sag where I wanted, putting some heavy books inside and hanging on a door handle. When I train I put padding between handle and strap so it doesn't indent the strap.

Ooooh, do you happen to have a Harmony? I'm wondering if this would work for it, too. I bought one and love it, except for the drop. I'd like it to have just a little more room there, like your Shay does. I was going to sell it, but if I can make it better by doing this, I can justify keeping it.

I do have 2 harmony, but haven't tried to train it. I think it should work, especially if pebble leather, but wouldn't close as well at the magnet closure in the middle I don't think. IT worked with my bedfords, but that magnet is a lot stronger.

Thank you! You make a really good point about the magnet closure! I didn't consider that.
