Dear fellow Cartier lovers,

I’ve been wearing my small love sinds the end of July, and just started noticing there is a sharp ledge on the Point where the bracelet is put together (I don’t know how this is called, sorry for that). I’ve marked the spot on my photo. Does anyone else have this? I noticed that I sometimes get snagged with fabric because of this.

Mine does not have that issue

Not sure if you are referring to the side of the bracelet or at the gap, but all the smalls have this gap, where the two parts meet, in order for the bracelet to open up and bend.

However, I have never had a problem with mine getting caught on anything so that is a bit unusual I think. Also, I just placed my finger over the area on top and although I can feel a slight change there, I don't feel anything sharp.

Same here, never any issue like you experienced. However my 3 sm Loves are in between the reg ones so it's less likely anyway.

With the JUC I do have some issues, though because of its shape

It’s not on right on top but on the side, at the end of one of the half of the bracelet. I contacted Cartier, they checked their bracelets and they said that all the bracelets have this. It should “polish” itself over time, but if it keeps bothering me I can come back and they will come with an solution.

So, I’m getting this topic up again. Cartier didn’t polish but freshened up the ledges and the sharpness was gone… till recently. The sharp ledge at the point of the part where the bracelet comes together (sorry don’t know what it is called in English) on one side is back again. I texted my SA and said C. has to offer me a better solution because obviously the freshening up didn’t work for the long term. In the NL it is by law that you have to give the seller (in this case C) the opportunity to fix the issue. If the issue comes back, as a consumer you have the right for either a full refund or a new item.
I already contacted my SA and he said that Paris decides what happens next. I already said I don’t want them to polish the bracelet since it is known (and he told me as well) it could change the bracelet.

they said when I went in the first time for the same problem, they haven’t had this issue before so I guess I just have a “bad” bracelet. It really bothers me it happens again and I hope C.will give me a good costumer service. I already asked if a manager can decide about the bracelet as I don’t understand why it has to be sent to Paris.

It gives me a pain in my stomach:sad:
